New members.

Before joining the club, all new rowers are required to complete an 18 hour ‘learn to row or learn to scull’ class. Classes are taught in boats on the water, in lessons 1-2 hours each. After successful completion of the Learn to Row or Learn to Scull class, you can join the club and continue with the ‘novice’ class. All class members are required to join US Rowing and sign a US Rowing waiver. The current basic annual US Rowing Membership fee is $25 for new members and $20 to renew.

Mayrene Earle camps.

In January & February we have famed female coach Mayrene Earle [http://www.masterscoaching.com/] with us for several rowing camps. These draw sweep rowers from across the country to enjoy our mild climate and Maryene's legendary coaching. Many of our members join in with these crews and experience her coaching.

Visiting rowers.

We welcome visitors to row with us once for no charge while they are staying in the area.  A short term membership is available. Monthly membership is $100 per month.
